OUR MISSION To teach the word and works of GOD at a level that is understandable to children according to their ages and learning abilities. In addition we want to incorporate African American heritage as it is reflected in the Bible.

OUR VISION The Vision of the Childrens Ministry of New Morning Light Baptist Church is to establish the Kingdom of God on Earth by the Word of God in and through every dimension of Children.

CORE VALUE STATEMENT Our core value is the minds and interest of our children as it pertains to their zeal for the word and making sure the children are knowledgable of how to properly apply the information taught to their life as a whole. In addition, we want to be fair and consistent in the decision making processes. We will encourage new and repeated visitors to become members. We will encourage all parents of new vistors and repeated visitors to become members. To encourage our children to fellowship with others and evangelize to people that do not knonw Christ and not feel limited because of theri age or size.

GOALS Our goal is to prepare children for Christian works. To expand materials to reflect spiritual gifts and biblical principles. To increase membership and attendance of children. To enhance curriculum so that the lessons willl reflect information that pertains to the children as African Americans and their existance and positons in the Bible.

SPECIAL FEATURES Utilizing reading material, writing materials, verbal discussions, arts, and crafts, visual aids and audiovisuals as resources. Interesting, realistic and uniform lessons planned. Quarterly outings (beginning 2003) so that the children can enhance their social skills and fellowship with one another and others as brothers and sisters. Movie day per quarter ( vistors welcome), for class participation, attendance, etc.
